Shortfalls to the expected work rostering requirement can trigger a system email
Potential strikes by Sheffield bin workers have been called off after a pay settlement. Employees threatened a three-day walkout but have now voted to accept an improved offer. The better deal was offered during discussions between union members, conciliation service Acas and management. Representative of the GMB union, Pete Davies, said it was “great news” and a “significant offer”. Mr Davies added: “We’ve had a long history of pay anomalies in Sheffield.”
Is your firm worried that manning and rostering matters have got out of control. Clocking recording networks from Time and Attendance North East puts all those concerns in the bin. Our WinTAnet Time & Attendance Integrated Management System combines the requirements of rostering and job costing. Manning levels in WinTAnet are based upon employee skills required during the working week. Any shortfalls to the expected requirement, due to absenteeism for example, can trigger a system email or SMS alerts. A separate module is available for rostering and manpower scheduling.
