Real time communicating clocking regime includes overtime shift patterns
The Sunderland branch of Nissan has broken the record for the number of vehicles produced at a single UK car plant. It rolled out 480,485 vehicles at the North East depot in 2011, up 14 per cent from 2010. The factory at Sunderland has two production lines, one of which makes the new Qashqai model on three shifts, running 24 hours a day, five days a week. The company also operates overtime shifts at the weekend to meet production targets.
Timely information is increasingly important within business in order to meet targets. The new range of T32xx clocks from Time and Attendance North East actively communicate with the computer system when a person clocks, books them ‘on’ to a job or uses their card to open a door. Real time communications provides you with the information as it occurs. The WinTA Time and Attendance system affords graphical display of information as well as enabling the creation of all sorts of shift patterns, including overtime.
