Public convenience entry turnstiles provide a useful audit trail

The Real Independent representative for Cleadon Park in South Shields, Councillor George Elsom, was sorry to see the old toilets go. Coun Elsom learned there will be toilet facilities in a new building, and observed: “There are toilets in South Marine Park, but that gets locked at night, and the Bents Park loos aren’t open very often, if at all, in the winter.”

Time and Attendance North East can enable local authorities to provide public conveniences to a high standard and raise revenue for their general day to day upkeep. The coin, token or smart card entry toilet turnstiles we supply for granting access to loos have the added benefit of preventing people from just wandering into the toilets. The device can contain additional counters to count the number of entries made, this along with the coin count can provide a useful audit trail.
