The change to an academy would see funding go direct to the Prince Henry’s Grammar rather than via Leeds City Council. Yorkshire based Prince Henry’s is a specialist language college of 1,400 students. A two-day strike has been announced for next week on Wednesday and Thursday with a three-day strike on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday of the following week.

Management can keep tabs on staff absences thanks to Time and Attendance North East’s cutting edge clocking technology. The on-line self service module allows employees or contractors to view or change their personal information via an Internet Browser. Access to the self-service module is username and password protected. After a successful login, staff can view their absence calendar and make holiday requests. Supervisors logging into the self-service module can amend their subordinates’ clockings and authorise or deny any pending holiday requests.
