Email alert via WinTAnet software when a shortfall in factory manning levels
Jobs at Nissan’s north-east car plant are secure as their latest Juke car rolled off the production line at Sunderland. Trevor Mann, Nissan senior vice president of manufacturing in Europe, said: “When the last Micras rolled out of here it was a little bit sad because it was a model which had been with us for so long.” He added: “However we were excited about producing the Juke and I want to offer my congratulations to the Sunderland workforce for earning the right to produce what is their sixth new model in eight years.”
Time and Attendance North East clocking recording systems promote greater efficiency because they monitor shift work and other hours issues at factories. Manning levels in WinTAnet are based upon employee skills required during the working week. Any shortfalls to the expected requirement, due to absenteeism for example, can trigger a system email or SMS alerts. A separate module is available for rostering and manpower scheduling. WinTAnet will predict the most appropriate shift depending on when an employee starts work.
