Cost management consultancy Utilitywise set to create 150 jobs

Following the successful purchase of Energy Information Centre (EIC) for £15.5m last month, South Shields utility cost management consultancy Utilitywise is set to create 150 new jobs in the area, a news report in the local media revealed.

Claire Waterson, director of people and HR at Utilitywise, said: "Recent acquisitions have made Utilitywise one of the biggest players in its industry and we are now looking to bring in more talent to help us grow even further. We have ambitious growth plans, based on organic as well as acquisitive growth, and we now have a vast amount of energy management and utilities expertise at our disposal. We know that our success in recent years has been due to the exceptional people we have working here and we are keen to add to these numbers with a rapid recruitment programme."

Naturally, any expanding company wishing to add more employees will require a very solid management/time and attendance system to be put in place in order to optimize its business processes, and this is specifically where Time & Attendance North East could put its extensive experience to work.

Our systems are user-friendly, innovative and designed for the working environment. They also offer a wide array of features, such as support for contactless smart cards (which would really come in handy in a busy depot), as well as optional finger print biometrics and mobile phone SIM card support.

Moreover, the multi-user, networked, multi site Time and Attendance, Access Control, Fire Roll Call and security system includes European Working Time Directive checking and reporting and allows administrators to save up to 2000 employees, supports extensive shift management and payroll-related operations, the allocation of various pay bands, and much more.
