Company clocking system calculates absence entitlement based upon length of service
Bus workers in South Yorkshire are planning strikes if a pay dispute is not resolved by this Friday (November 18). Barnsley, Rotherham and the Dearne Valley would be affected by the walkout. Union members who work for Stagecoach South Yorkshire would walk out on Friday, next Monday and on December 2 and 3. Company management said services in Sheffield and Chesterfield, including route 265 to Barnsley, and those Stagecoach East Midlands routes in south Rotherham and Doncaster would not be affected.
Companies concerned with accurately monitoring, recording and taking action over employee absence can look no further than Time and Attendance North East. Our systems easily and accurately record your employees’ clocking data and can include recent developments in biometric technology, giving you a reliable system. Under our WinTAnet clocking network, as absence is booked and taken, the available remainder for each entitlement is updated. Entitlement formulae are used to calculate more complex entitlements that work on a rising scale based upon length of service.
