DCS Multiserve, a facilities management company located in Camperdown Industrial Estate, Killingworth, has managed to create 60 new jobs 60 permanent positions this year and has reported a 28 per cent growth, local business sources can reveal. Established in 1987, DCS offers full facilities management including cleaning, catering, building and grounds maintenance, consumable supplies and waste management to businesses across the UK.

A planning application submitted by property developer Bellway Homes for building 121 homes on the former Walker Technology College site in Newcastle is likely to be approved following a positive report received from the council’s planning bosses.
